Why is blindMELVIN in jail?

	Rumours abound to the reason blindMELVIN has been incarcerated by Canadian Custom Officials. Speglum has been telling all who will listen that the mangy cat had been kidnapped by pizza-eating Torontonians. ylfnogarD is right in the middle of this controversy, unfairly of course!! He has been accused of this dastardly federal crime. The real story, witnessed by at least 3 people, is that there was not a kidnapping. No. This elaborate story was concocted by no other than the infamous SPEGlum to get rid of the pesky feline forever. It seems the truth has been covered up to spare the world finding out of the real feeling of Mr. Speglum toward this animal. It is true that ylfnogard was in the company of Mr. SPEGlum and blindMELVIN on Aug. 7th, 1997. As the accused was leaving to return to his own fair country to the north, Mr. SPEGlum approached the vehicle and hid the cat in the the backseat with the children. With the mess, one more item would not be noticed. The extra baggage was not detected until an attempt was made to cross the border back into Canada. When questioned to whether or not illegal aliens were being transported into the country, blindMELVIN came to pass wind and make his presences know to all within smelling distance. Custom officials immediately pounced upon the stowaway and confine him to the animal jail. It is here that blindMELVIN is now languishing with 3 other cats and four dogs. To prove my innocence, I have started a fund to free blindMELVIN. Donations are being accepted now to free this animal from the grasp of the Canadian Government.
